Elections are scheduled to be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024 for a four year term of office.
Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV is divided into six subdivisions for purposes of Board representation and encompasses rural and urban communities around the City of Moose Jaw. Once elected, the ten-member Board represent all students in Prairie South.
Subdivision #1: 1 elected member (includes the communities of: Central Butte, Chaplin, Craik, Eyebrow, Mortlach)
Subdivision #2: 1 elected member (includes the communities of: Avonlea, Caronport, Lindale, Rouleau)
Subdivision #3: 1 elected member (includes the communities of: Assiniboia, Mossbank)
Subdivision #4: 1 elected member (includes the communities of: Bengough, Coronach, Rockglen)
Subdivision #5: 1 elected member (includes the communities of: Glentworth, Gravelbourg, Kincaid, Lafleche, Mankota)
Subdivision #6: 5 elected members (City of Moose Jaw)
Mail-In-Ballots
All eligible voters have the option to apply to vote through mail-in-ballot. Voting by mail-in-ballot is a convenient alternative to voting in person. All ballots must be received by 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 13.
For Subdivisions No. 1-5:
The package is available below. You can print it yourself, or you can pick it up at the Prairie South School Board Office.
You can submit your application by email (elections@prairiesouth.ca), fax (306.694.4955), mail, or in person at Prairie South Schools, 1075 9th Avenue NW, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1V7.
The deadline to submit your Mail-In-Ballot application is October 23, 2024. This will allow for adequate time for your mail-in-ballot to be processed and delivered on time.
